We were invited to speak at The Things Conference about CRA
CyberWhiz took the stage at The Things Conference in Amsterdam to discuss the growing impact of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) on IoT manufacturers and how continuous cybersecurity management is becoming essential for connected products.
CyberWhiz Shared Its CRA Vision at The Things Conference 2025
On September 30, 2025, CyberWhiz was invited to speak at The Things Conference in Amsterdam, one of Europe’s leading IoT-focused events bringing together device manufacturers, connectivity providers, platform vendors, and cybersecurity experts from around the world.
Our session took place immediately after the keynote presentations as the first dedicated session focused on the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the future of IoT cybersecurity compliance in Europe.
During the presentation, we discussed how the CRA is transforming cybersecurity requirements for connected products and why manufacturers now need to think beyond one-time security assessments toward continuous cybersecurity management throughout the entire product lifecycle.
The session highlighted several key challenges facing IoT manufacturers:
- Continuous vulnerability management requirements
- Secure software update infrastructure obligations
- Product security monitoring responsibilities after deployment
- SBOM and asset visibility requirements
- Coordinated vulnerability disclosure processes
- End-to-end security across Edge·Mobile·Cloud ecosystems
We also introduced how CyberWhiz approaches these challenges through its end-to-end IoT cybersecurity technologies and services specifically designed for connected product manufacturers.

As CRA enforcement timelines approach, we are seeing rapidly increasing demand from manufacturers across sectors including smart home appliances, EV charging systems, industrial IoT, mobility, and automotive technologies.
At CyberWhiz, our focus is helping manufacturers achieve not only initial CRA readiness, but also sustainable and continuous compliance through technologies covering:
- Embedded / Edge Security
- Mobile Application Security
- Cloud & Backend Security
- Vulnerability Disclosure Management
- Secure OTA Infrastructure
- Continuous Security Monitoring
- Penetration Testing & Security Validation
We would like to thank The Things Conference team and all attendees for the great discussions and strong interest in IoT cybersecurity and CRA compliance.
The transition toward secure-by-design connected products is accelerating globally, and we are proud to contribute to this transformation together with the IoT ecosystem.
